Graduation Requirements:
The APsyIT program consists of 25 compulsory modules and 03
electives which will constitute a total of 135 credits.
Satisfactory completion of these 135 credits is necessary for
graduation. The program is structured into a compulsory section of 120 credits, and the elective section comprises 15
credits. The APsyIT requires also satisfaction of the following criteria:
• Cumulative percentile average of 50% or higher.
• All required modules / courses must be passed successfully.
This specialized education program is based on a
student-centered knowledge dissemination approach. In practical- based modules,
most of a student's time will be spent on practical work to gain hands-on experience
and in preparing for assessment. In
lecture-based modules a considerable amount of time will be spent on one-to-one
lectures, eLearning and in other virtual
environments. The structure of the course allows a very flexible mode of
knowledge acquisition. Therefore, the
course can be combined seamlessly with other occupational / professional
involvements.
The volume of study material and workload, which is the
standard necessary study time to realize the competences mentioned in the curriculum, amounts to a
total of 135 credits, as any other 03 year bachelor’s degree program.
APsyIT Program Overview
The program includes in-depth supervised training in Applied
Psychology, Research and Practice. Students are afforded an opportunity to acquire knowledge
in areas such as Clinical, Organizational, Counseling, Industrial, Developmental & Educational
Psychology with a special emphasis and focus on utilizing contemporary IT trends in Applied Psychology.
