Secretary General's Message
It is with
delight and honor that I accept the post of the inaugural Secretary General of
the Chamber of Chartered Behavioral Scientists – International, CCBS.
The mission
of CCBS, as the premier international body for behavioral sciences, is to
foster the professionalism of qualifying students worldwide by preparing them
with cutting-edge technologies in Behavioral Science, IT and Contemporary Sciences so that they can
contribute and compete in the dynamic global market.
It is an
inherent human trait to feel inspired by observing a life well lived and to
feel disheartened by seeing a person fall short of their potential. By
extension, we recognize in them our own fulfilled dreams or wasted promise.
This is doubly important with young students whose future possibilities – to
borrow an IT metaphor – can be programmed for infinite capacity.
The most educated
investment a society can make is to invest in the education of its young
people. Behavioral Science, as practiced at CCBS, plays an indispensable role
towards this goal by utilizing the latest insights in emerging fields of
neuroplasticity and Epigenetics that present new understandings of how our
brains and hearts function, and generate practical creative technologies
designed to optimize the students’ innate abilities.
With its
faculty of experts and dedicated staff, and through its pioneering programs,
scholarships, state-of-the-art facilities, Diploma Certifications at three levels finally up to a BSc , prize
grants, lectures, neuroscience research labs, and global affiliations, CCBS is
uniquely positioned as an institution for educating successful and productive
professionals who in turn will shine further light for future generations.
