One of the most international things we
observe is human behaviour !! Everywhere
people act, are taught to do things better, interact to influence each other's
behaviour, and are making decisions about tools and technology in use. Behavioural
scientists are interested in the how and why of differences in behaviour, also
between countries, cultures and over time. Some want to discover laws of
behaviour that apply throughout the world and to all cultures. Every
Behavioural Sciences student is an international student. Discover our
behavioural research and education in the fields of psychology, communication,
educational science, philosophy of science and science communication.
We have
several study programmes in Applied Psychology which
is a sub-category under the big umbrella and different from the “basic psychology” that seems to be
covered in most undergraduate psychology courses and general psychology education.
. The “basic psychology” includes (among other topics or sub-dimensions) abnormal, cognitive, neuropsychology,
personality, positive, and social psychology.
Applied psychology – includes clinical, educational, forensic, health,
human factors (engineering), industrial-organizational, occupational health,
school, and sport psychology. It can be psychology applied to business, the law, product design,
management, mental health, etc.
